I feel like a kid all over again; but not in a good way.
Let's just say that working at Waraku was an enlightening process. A discovery path to the complications of the real world. The lessons taught in such a way that it'll be a knee -jerk reaction when you say "Screw the world". But, oh well, isn't the lessons taught in that way the ones most clearly etched in memory?
I always thought I wasn't my age. Not is it only the way I looked, I felt it was also the way I thought. The way I cannot appreciate the mindless joy 16, 17 year olds can derive from cyber stalking their idols. The way I...ok, I better wise up and stop my ranting here. ANYWAY, I was wrong. Yes, I'm wrong. Sorry ego, I know you're deeply wounded by this revealation, but yes, Yan Hong is 17 all right. It's even printed on my pink IC! Believe it!
Waraku, no, working at Waraku has really given me the wake up call. You think everyone is nice? Ha. Fat hope. No one is earnestly nice to you. Behind every smile, there's a purpose. Behind every gift, is a brewing agenda.
And hey, if you really think the world is all about meritocracy and democracy please wake up. Meritocracy is obviously subjective and would be played to the upper hands' favour. As for democracy? It's a big lie money grubbers preach about.
Wake up.
This is the 21st century. The era of silent wars and emotional wreckage.
