Social Studies and English Paper 1 Today
ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz Today's papers are horribly done.
English first alrighty? When I got the question paper I saw this word 'fame' and I was SO CONVINCED TO THE THE ESSAY!
I was thinking of something like how fame changes a person? How the paparazi scrutinise on your every movement and entangling you up with some random people who are nice to you? How your privacy is invaded? How some pretty faces stand at centre stage whlist those witty clever politicians/biologist/photographer are unappreciated? How fame makes you so materialistic?
But... I didn't write that stupid essay because I know it'll end up something like a blog entry- with me asking the examiners rhetorical questions and expressing my anger on god-knows-what.
So, I proceeded to the next question and immediately started writing because I had spent precious 15 minutes brainstorming for the essay on fame, i had to move on quickly.
The question is something like: Write about an incident that happened because you were in a new environment.
I wanted to write about a the first day at school when I put the plates back at the wrong stall (which is true by the way) or something like being mocked by my classmates for my lengthy skirt and ridiculous socks.
Then, just as I wanted to write the essay, I looked at Joel who was in a very akward position...I suppose concentrating on writing?
And a idea hit me! I shall write about an experience at a tanning studio. The story is something like I went to a tanning studio to get a fake tan, the stupid me didn't know how the spraying thingy operates and I was to shy to ask the handsome reception, then I got sprayed in the face, ran out of the room flailing my hands frantically and running amok, next I hit my head on something and ended up in the hospital.
Simple enough?
The story dragged like so freaking long! 2 and a half sheet of paper! Miss Ng is sure to scold me again. I think it's the draggy introduction and excessive details, I should have cut the whole 'talking-with-handsome-receptionist-part' out.
But no regrets. There's no point crying (complaining) over split milk.
Social Studies now. Oh that bloody Social Studies paper that I acutally spent close to 5 hours preparing for turned out like shit! I should have chosen another question because I was not familiar with the questions. I should have used that 20 minutes of spare time write the other essay!
But.. anyway.. What's done is done. No regrets, their just not my style eh?
There are still many papers to go. I hope to top the Human Geog paper and hopefully get better grades for the History Paper? AND PASS MATHS!

Macdonald's Is A Cheater
My brother is such a lousy photographer! Anyway it does capture the point-show how bloody tall Macdonald is. Actually, Macdonald's isn't that tall! He's standing on something and that adds like 15cm to his height!!! Cheater.
I tried cooking my F&N dish today and it taste absolutely HEAVENLY! I hope that crazy bitch wouldn't stop me from cooking it.
Oh yes, I almost forgot. Ca marks would not be considered in SA1, in order words, the mid year exam is 100% of SA1 cards, and I'm so happy because I did so badly for my subjects! LALALALA.

SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPING
I finally got to go to orchard after 8296948 years of not visiting that place! This time with a person who can get to anywhere in town with her eyes closed, seriously, and that is LILI who I haven't met for ages as well.
Anyway, I got skinny tapered jeans and a (waist) belt! :D
Readers who happen to be very not vain and very against vain people can stop reading already.
I really though that the jeans I got was skinnys until I was inthe MRT. I mean the tapered jeans and the skinnys was on the same display rack, naturally I would assume that that rack is stacked with skinnys of different colours right? RIGHT? Although i way sound a little cheated/pissed, I'm not, actually I'm glad that I bought the tapered jeans because my thigh look like a giant sausage that would tempt even the most fussy-eating dog. Haha. Tapered jeans make my butt look saggy, but it does make my legs look longer... ANYTHING FOR LONG LEGS!
Ok, I'm done. BYE!

The pain is so unbearable that you cannot walk.
And they command you to fuck 10 guys the next day.
What would you regrad the 'they' as?

The song still makes me teary after litsening to it for like 15 times! Oh my...I'm such a sucker for this kinda things.
Pssst... I went shopping without spending a cent today! Slowpoke must be sooo proud of me!
Anyhooo, Mid year's in two weeks time.
*allows the information to sink in*
Ok, I'm not nervous at all. I really don't understand why people get so frantic, nervous, stressful, and (insert an adjective here) because of examinations. For goodness sake, all you have to do is sit in front of a piece of paper and write something intelligeable. How difficult can that be?
The only freaky thing is the releasal of results. The bloody numbers that forces you into days/weeks being stuck at home staring at nothing but assesment books, being subjected to endless naggings and "motivational talks", being deprived of your communication device(s) and some other consequence that your parents cook up?
Please lor, the results in worse can?
But nonetheless, there's this feeling of anxiety that makes me cringe whenever someone talks to me about O levels.
"There's nothing to be afraid of," some adults would comfort, "just do your best and the rest would play out fine."
*Coughs* We're not young and impressionable 12 year olds aldults!
Majority of the candidates taking the examination would understand how freaking important this examination is, if one faulters we would be plagued with a lifetime of prejudice!
Why?
The reason being everyone looks at your graduation certificate, only that. Because unlike other sensible developed countries the Singapore works in a way called the SOP, Standard Operations Procedure- a system that only looks at the report.
Leadership qualities? Good speaking skills? Fortitude? Undescribable passion and interest? Fidelity? Great sense of logic? They don't give a shit to that.
All employers look at something called the graduation certificate which they presume reflects EVERYTHING YOU ARE. Yes, that's right a piece of paper representing all your strengths, weaknesses, everything. And from that inaccurate sheet (shit) they judge you accordingly.
Ludicrous isn't it?
Chocki's dewlap is shedding excessive fur, I wonder if she's pregnant. BYE!
I think she's fucking great! Great enunctiation, breathtaking voice, what's there not to like?
She's just one very good example of someone with lurking talent. So talented, yet unappreciated and undiscovered until her late forties.

Love Hate Relationship with School
I do not enjoy school as much as I hope to enjoy it. But when I go through the photos that were taken in school, I'll just smile. Smiling while going through the ridiculous events that I've experience.
For starters, 2e3. 2e3 had the most awesome teacher's day party where the guys swooned over Miss Lee like bees gather around honey, and the girls reluctantly took a photograph with Mrs Chan. Then there's the food- the food that we walked all the way to whitesands to collect when the rest of the classes got the food delivered to school. Everyone was participative, happy and having fun.
Next up, the funniest event that still makes me giggle: Pee Inthe Bottle. I. Will. Never. Forget. This.
We (Kai Zhi, Wenxin, Selene, ME, Amzar, Bryan) were waiting for our turn to have the oral examination with Mrs Chan. For goodness sake we've waited for almost 2 hours already, and during the waiting time we consumed large quantities of water, resulting in 'the-high-tide'. I didn't take much water because I'm a dessert, but I presume the guys took quite a bit.
When they asked Mrs Chan for permission, she refused to allow them to go. The tide was too high and ______ decided to pee in the bottle.
He went to the back of the class to relief himself. There was still the 'sshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....' sound lor!
Half way through, he shouted something like the pee is overflowing and Amzar went on to grab another bottle for him!
Resulting in the above...
The towering tibits! The whole 50th Aniiversary Carnival was really fun.(:
The ever fun Pure Geog lessons. In my opinion, Miss Ku is one of the best teachers in school! Her lessons are always fun and we'll do/talk about randomm stuff.
Eg: Playing Eco City
Playing as Government
Group Work
Group Discussion about travel locations and FOOD!
School's often a fucking bore that I pray with my fingers and toes cross that I can skip, however, though secondary school life is not as perfect as my primary school life I hope it to be... I'm sure I'll miss those little consolations that encourages me to be optimistic ans attend school everyday.

Mid Years in 2 weeks
In two weeks time.. IT'LL BE THE MID YEAR EXAMS!
Inspite of this.. I feel like going on a holiday now!
be crazy, be stupid, be wild, be silly, because life is too shoty to be cool.
Hiccups attack today! So horrible.
Sinyi ranted that Mr N*** and Mr **ri* gave their class a lecture today. From the content of the lecture that slow told me, I don't really get the point of the lecture. Besides, the problem is kinda like solved already?
So what if the response of the Gala is poor? Wasn't the possibility of that event calculated? The suggestion of inviting the juniors is already a solution to the answer to the poor response of the Secondary 4s and 5s right?
Why the hell relate it to loyalty and appreciation of efforts?
Loyalty to the school means participating activily to school events? My ass. Loyalty to the school compromising the benefits of the school by one's actions.
So what has it got to do with attending the gala? Going to another event that we deem as more appropriate wrong?
For goodness sake, When Mr **ri* spoked to the level about the event he clearly stated that seats are limited because many of the graduates and juniors that hold leadership positions are in the list already and it is a grand event to celebrate Hai Sing's 50th Anniversary.
What is your impression of the statement?
The graduating classes are not the piriority. It means that the spot light is not on us, the graduating classes who are supposed to be the stars!
Of course we will be unhappy. Some smart person decide to not dwell onthe problem, instead solve it? Thus, prom is planned. The level find the arrangement suitable. Hence, participate in the event (that we view as a event that would be a grand closure to our Secondary School lives). Then we get a lecture by Mr **ri* and N*** about loyalty?
From what I understand, we did not compromise the loyalty we have towards the school? Moreover, we cannot conform to only one value right?
The school says we have to be loyal. The school also says we have to be pro-active. So what?
Oh whatever man. The dilemma between the gala or prom is not existing already. I don't really get why the two Mr-s want to harp on it. It's not there's nobody attending the gala, they won the 'battle' and they still want to grumble.
Adults. Just full of crap.

Dian Xiao Er is horrible. I fucking hate it. I don't how a restaurant with a horrible ambience, uncomfortable wooden chairs, crappy cultlery and mediocre food that has exorbitant prices attract so many people! Seriously.
We- my family wanted to have Swensen's today, then just as we past Dian Xiao Er my mother suggested to us to try it. I didn't know what to expect so I agreed.
But when we were presented with this pathetic wooden table and uncomfortable chair right smack in the middle of a noisy crowd.
Great. But since there's so many people, the food must be either very economic or very good.
Guess what. It's neither.
The food is not horrible, but it just tastes exactly like the food you get at the coffee shop just below your resisdence? The only difference is the price tag.
For your information, we spent $80 eating vegetables and fish.
Maybe it's because I'm very picky when it comes to food since my dad enjoyed the meal thoroughly.
Ok, let's say, I'm not really used to eating Chinese cuisine when I'm out for a meal because my daddy cooks WONDERFUL Chinese food. At least the best in my world.
Anyway, SINYI IS GOING TO THE GALA TOO! WHOOPPIEE I have someone to sit with(:

Quick Post Before I Go Out for DINNER
I finally had the chance to get out of the house today. I wanted to go Vivo, but there wasn't anyone to fecth me there. :(
So, I went to Tampines Mall. Wanted to see some stuff at Mango. In the end, I bought 2 tops at Outfitter's Girls instead cause it was on discount! Therefore, I didn't have much money left to foot the bill for my retail therapy at Mango, and since my dear mother didn't want to lend me any money because of the recession ( I still don't get the excuse), I didn't get anything. So sad.
My mother wanted to check Tampines 1 out. IT'S HER OK, I SWEAR NOT ME!
There were like throngs of people? Some shops were even so crowded that people had to queue to get in there. Seriously.
I think I'm going to go there either on Monday or Tuesday when it is less packed.
:D
Off to dinner at Swensen's! BYE

Failed Attemt to Find Score and Hell's Description?
I wanted to learn the piano piece of 'It Ends Tonight'. I googled, but I didn't manage to find the score of that piece. Hence, I decided that I should learn from the tutorials that have been popping up ever since I've started scouting.
Looks easy enough right? But don't be fooled!
The pianist plays the piece at the pace the song is sung and that is DAMM FAST LA? I can't pick up the keys that he played although I have experience with the piano.
*The Brimming with Pride Grade One Pianist*
I shall ask Aisua to teach me, saves the trouble anyway.
Today was nothing much of a holiday because I didn't manage to go SHOPPING. I need retain therapy, desperately.
Reading 4 books in five days (and two books today) made me really itching to dress up and hit the stores. There's nothing better than standing in the store grooving with the music, browsing through beautiful clothes, and chatting with a friend/friends. I hope heaven (at least my heaven) is like that.
I don't want my heaven to have a set of my Secondary School like the one of the character, Susie of 'Lovely Bones'. Because my Secondary School is Hai Sing Catholic Secondary. Hai Sing Catholic with it's smelly toilets, cram hall, unappealing food, irritating wall fans, complex politics- that I graciously excuse myself from, and Mrs C#*o's and Mr #i*'s naggings there's no difference between hell and heaven.
Seriously.
I think hell would look something like my Secondary School.
Of course with a little alterations?
The Aloe Vera at the New Block's Corridoor would grow to a massive size and would shoot 15inch thick needles at the residents of hell who are forced to parade past them everyday.
The resisdents of hell would also be forced to scrub the FUCKING SMELLY TOILET with their bare hands and lick the remnants of the toilet bowl with their tongue.
Every classroom would have this colossal wall fans that would blow everyone on to a wall which then they would be binded by the hands of C#*o wrinkly hands then she'll grind you! Oh that's scary..
Special Rooms would have all those insects that have died (dunno how many 7290639730272- eons ago) crawling on them and Mrs C#*o giving a lecture on why the resisdents of hell should take teddy-bear shaped pasta.
Mr *i* and Mrs C**o voice would be blarred through the school's pathetic sound system. Screeches, naggings, lectures, etc would be reveberating in their heads. Residents of hell would never sleep.
MUAHAHAHAHHA
I miss Sinyi. I miss Amirah. I miss New York Fish and Chips too? :D

If you are a follower of this blog since 97889578597078574748 ago, and have very good memory, you might remeber I mentioned something about going to Langkawi with friends?
Remeber?...
Anyway, I think I can manage to go to Hong Kong next year! With friends of course! I've calculated already, if we were to go on a normal weekday that doesn't tie in with any holidays, it'll be like S$250+ for five days!
Isn't that great or what?
If I we were to go to Malaysia, it'll be even cheaper S$150+ only!
LALA Let's do the LIMBO ROCK! :D

Dream
You know what's one of the things that I ABSOLUTELY HATE? It's couples (regardless of age) wearing mitchy-matchy cartoony shirts. I think that's revoking, really horrible when the shirts are emblazoned with mushy and icky messages.
Anyway, I took a half hour nap just now I had this really peculiar dream? Many people were in it, some of them include Amelia, Jasmine C, Jasmine T, Kai Zhi, Wan Chew, Jing Ting, Shannon, Irsyad, Kevin, Wei Hao, Wei Qin, Michelle and Amzar? (I remember there are still many others but I can't recall.) We (all the people) were in this spacious room, sitting in a BIG circle, passing a goldfish tank that has a fish and dry paper scrolls in it. Then when the bowl was passed to me, I opened the scroll, and I said something...
Almost immediately, the scene changed, aghast and angry faces were staring at me..
I was afraid of something..
Before the dream came to some form of a conclusion, I woke up. Hah, I don't even know why am I sharing this.
Bye, Happy Good Friday!

Let's Be Friends!
Your Friendship Style is Philosophical
You take every friendship you have seriously, and you spend a lot of time analyzing your friends.
You've thought a lot about what it means to be a good friend, and you hold yourself to your standard.
In return, you expect your friends to be loyal, honest, and real. You're somewhat picky about who you're friends with.
Fighting with your friends bothers you more than most people. You can't stop replaying arguments over and over in your head.
You and an Empathetic Friend: Try to understand one another. You approach life very differently, but you're willing to listen to one another.
You and a Gregarious Friend: Are a better match than expected. You understand and appreciate your Gregarious Friend's energy.
You and an Independent Friend: Get along pretty well, but you can't help but think your Independent Friend needs to learn better manners!
You and another Philosophical Friend: Are friends for life. You can get lost in your intense, interesting conversations... and maybe even change the world together!
Oh my..the time is crawling so slowly and I hate it! The whole computer lab that we're in is awfully quiet and it appears to any person who walks past the lab that EVERYONE is absorbed in their work, which is such a distorted fact!
Everyone (at least in my opinion) is only looking blankingly at the computer screen, typing words that are unfamiliar, and shutting themselves out from Mrs Choo's voice in hope of making their lesson more enjoyable. zzzzzzzzzzzzz
How interesting.
Oh wells, I should be thankful that Mrs Choo is screaming and shouting at the top of her lungs anymore. She's just a pettie and petty old hag who loves to nag a lot, repeat herself in that horrible croaking voice and just insanely irritating?

STUPID INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE
Oh the bus ride back today was horrible!
Great one more thing to add to my hate list: INCONSIDERATEPEOPLE!
There was this group of coral sec students creating a din in the bus.
I usually close one eye because I completely understand people can get a little carried away when their with their friends.
BUT, there is a LIMIT!
Defintely you can't play your harmonica (sp), talk eff-ing LOUDLY, and disrupt the bus journey of others right?!
The life in Singapore is either too cold or too annoying!
The thought of staying here for the rest of my life sends chills down my back.

He likes avocados so I should try them right? ;)

Bad Books
I like books that are accounts of rape/unfair (outrageous) religious treatment/putting up a pretense, and some other catagories...
Anyway, I'm not sure if I mentioned in the blog that I borrowed and finished the book "Shame" in 2 days.
I was looking forward to how she was abused (sexually/verbally/spiritually/physically..whatever), so I read feveriously though bored by the story. Well, I did not get no abusive accounts instead I got more and more agitated after reading the chapter after chapter. I seriously felt like SLAPPING THE AUTHOR aka victim.
The author is insanely lucky to have a man who saves her from her arranged marraige, that man who is her husband who comforts her when she's at her lowest point, who tolerates all her rhetorical questions, a husband who loves her even after her commiting an affair TWICE Apart from meeting a man who loves her till the ends of the universe she eventual recieved acceptance from her family.
So what if she ran away from home and "disgraced the whole family"? I mean afterall wasn't hers a happy ending? Why the hell is the book titled shame then?
Then there's this other book that I am currently reading: When daddy comes home..
It's supposed to be an account of a little girl who was raped since she was 6 all the way to 14 when the outrage of modesty eventually stopped (because she was pregnant and the relevant authorities were contacted and the father had to serve a prison term).
For the past 30 chapters, which is over 250 pages, the girl tries to cope with life? Very common story heart palpitating experience with boys, finding for acceptance, controlling parents, and not a sentence that describes the rape.
It's always stated as 'the knot in my heart', 'entanglement' and 'barrier....'..
For goodness sake the book is concluding in like 50 pages and not a sentence about rape? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Don't waste your time reading any of those two books. Seriously.

Beautiul Sunday~
O.o
I'm at home instead of being at my late grandmother's condo because I still have some work to finish because I devoted the whole afternoon to finsish 'Shame', the new book I borrowed.
So sad you know? I can't see my cousin go ballistic over the Jason Mraz's albums that I have and he doesn't.
Heehee!
Nevermindee, I'll watch him go ballistic next week when my father doesn't have shift and would be able fetch me there.
Anyhoo, just a little spill of information on my life. Yes, the dreaded school still plays a major part of my life, but apart from school, music, friends, ... books and sappy movies play a large part too.
I'm starting to like the idea of books and movies. Though it does not transport you to a state of euphoria, it does keep you occupied and discover the bits and pieces of yourself that you never knew existed. Not only that, it also teaches you of some values and lessons you would only understand after adversities and unfortunate events.
Maybe you don't agree.
Perphaps you think that sappy movies and books are just for no-lifers.
Well, that's just a difference in preferance.
No don't worry, I'm not going to go all preachy with books because I can totally emphasize with the "why-the-fuck-am-I-watching/reading-this-piece-shit" feeling. Trust me.
I have to do my work now. Bye!

Blocked Out
This is wonderful. I finally remebered the password for this email account after 9736207308926987038 attempts of accessing to this new email account, but just before I remebered the password, I hit the 'Send New Password to Email Button'.
Note: Send New Password to the account that I have 0 access to button.
So now, I'm totally blocked out of my email account..
Tell me about it man!
I have a tuition later at about 2.30pm-4.30pm to 4.30pm-6.30pm. You ask me why there's such a BIG TIME GAP? It's because the tuition teachers does not know a shit about something called "punctuality".
Did I mention that she is fucking boring too?
Good gracious, why do I pay for such a teacher?

Shopping Trip at Parkway Parade
I just ate Chilli Crab for dinner! Envious? Teeheeheehee.
But there's a down side for that sumptuous meal: the chilli or the crab creates a fiery sensation on your fingers and lips.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
It's not exactly what I call painful but it is really stingingly uncomforable!
*pouts*
Anyway, my dear mummy brought me to Parkway Parade for me to raid the shops! Thanks ma.
I was so looking forward to getting myself tons of clothes, accessories or whatever I fancy.
However the whole shopping trip was dissapointing.
1. There was like a major traffic congestion even before we got to the carpark!
2. We only got a lot at the 7th floor! Can you imagine?
3. The mall was ridiculously packed with people; aunties, uncles, young people, EVERYONE!
How fucking cool is that! Although my face doesn't says so it is fucking AWESOME OK!
I laid my hands his debut album title 'Waiting for my Rocket to Come'. That album, was in the market in 2002.
And sadly, the ALBUM IS FREAKING SCREWED UP! Not the music of course! His voice is like my lullaby...
But it's the song thingy, the song is like cut midway! At about 2:-- there would be this akward pause for like a minute or so then the song either continues or it'll just end there!
ARGH!
I've been scammed! But the CD is not refundable/exchangeable!
Damm. Fuck Sembawang. Sell these goods which are not up to standard.
ANYHOO! I'm really loooving his albums!
For your info, I got the limited edition version of 'We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things'.
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Heeheehee. Yan Hong is happy.
By the way, if any of you out there happens to go to Parkway Parade I would definitely recomend you to buy 'LYCHEE MARTINI'. It is absolutely great! Huizhen's mum once bought it and Huizhen and I finished the whole thing!
I mean sweet lychee juice with a dash of alchohal, can it get any better?
If you're not a fan of alchohal like *super loud cough* you can drop by Topshop/Topman, I heard their having a big-ass sale.
Have fun people.
P.S: I SAW A DROP DEAD GORGEOUS DRESS THAT I FEEL LIKE BUYING FOR PROM! Sadly I don;t have the financial capability. Boohoo:(

PMS-Y
Sometimes I think it's better to just follow instructions without thinking and feeling.
Perphaps our brain should have this function- register everything as instructions. Instructions that we do without questioning. Then catalouge it in the folder 'SOP'- Standard Operations Procedure, something that the Singapore government loves to bits.
And after all this is done, feelings like anger, indignence (SP), sadness, injustice can be cut down, drasticallty.
Pardoon me, Yan Hong has been feeling insanely PSMYY.
Because Yan Hong hates to be given instructions, instructions, and MORE INSTRUCTIONS and she hates people who does not follow her very simple request.
I mean, like WHY CAN'T I GO TO MARINE PARADE AND SNAP FOX (the brand please nothing to do with the animal ok) GOODS UP AT ONLY $3?!?!?!
INDIGNANT!

Just Another School Day 1
The weather is unbearably HOT and HUMID. It's like as if the heat isn't bad enough there's the humidity to kill us all..
ZZZZZZZZ
Everything seems to be not going smoothly.
1. I got fucking pissed off by the stupidity _______________ putting eff-ing hot fried rice into a melt-able plastic container.
2. Chinese lessons. Always horrible not matter what.
3. The Chinese oral! I kept stuttering because I didn't have enough time to prepare for the passage! I was only on the 2 paragraph! TOTALLY UNPREPARED LA CAN? Please don't say I still have the other section to pull my grades up, because I screwed the other part up as well! I am such a failure.
4. The stupid weather.
5. I STILL HAVEN'T GOT OVER IT! (Only the slow girl whose name starts with S and ends with I would understand..)
Well, I can't really say that today is that bad..
At least, The whole dinner and prom thing has been somewhat finallized! And
*drum rolls please*
I am going for both events!
Though it may seem quite irrational and implusive I can explain fully why I want to attend both events.
1. I love to dress up.
2. I want to experience 'major-scaled' events.
3. I want as much childhood/teenage memory as possible.
4. . . . AND MORE! HEE
Anyway, I finally finished Nineteen Minutes.
*applause*
I like Jodi Picoult's books. Because she introduces me to so many concepts and constantly reminds me that I am not the only one who has all the bad experiences.
:D
The only two things to cheer my day huh?

Prom-Blems
I tthink I should have been a prefect...
Anyhoo, I've changed the blog URL, again. *beams*
I wanted to stick to 'count-to-a-hundred' but I freaking hate the pweny font that I type in and is displayed on the blog.
I hate the font too!
ARIAL!
Yucks, Times New Roman is better.
Though I prefer the font, I don't really fancy the hot pink colour scheme. I'm sure most of you reading this doesn't like this too... I promise I'll change it once I am in the mood which is .. . . . .SOON!
:D
Nothing significant/worth mentioning happened apart from Mr Surin announcing that there would be this 50th Anniversary Dinner that the all graduating classes, ex-Haisians and respective ex and current educational staff would be invited to.
What he really meant is - graduating classes + a whole lot of
To make it even better, the juniors are given the piriority.
Mr Surin said that the prom is cancelled because all manpower is channelled to facilitate the Dinner.
Then he mentioned something about the dinner substituting our prom.
Yes, what a wonderful substitute.
A dinner that we're not even the main participants.
From Primary School I've been looking forward to prom.
American chick-flicks has made me think that prom is where boys and girls doll up and dance together.
Huizhen's description was even better.
In her memory, prom was something where the whole level dressed nicely comes together to wrap up their Secondary School years.
Prom was great, she emphasized.
Everyone was like one great big family, sitting round a circular table where everyone talked about their best memories in school.
It was not always that 400+ people of around the same age share about a smiliar enjoyable experience.
Prom was one of the rare occasions.
I guess the only other one is NS.
For girls, it's like one freaking rare opportunity.
Why are we deprived of the spot light being on us?
Why in lord's name should we share the limelight?
It boils down to money doesn't it?
The school has better things to do with that amount of cash for prom isn't it so?
The dinner is just a coincidental excuse used to placate us isn't it so?
Moreover, we are thee-graduating-classes what more benefits can the school reap from us?
Money is the greatest evil in the world.
It makes people so blind to all the love and goodness surrounding him/her.
It makes people only aware of all those short-lived benefits and nothing else.
Anyway,
I must act hyped out because I'm currently trying to convince Wen Xin to go.
The spacing screwed up after I added the photo..Sorry?
